Collection of Personal Information Personal information is generally obtained from individuals when they submit their CVs or resumes by email and online through this website. Other information can be obtained from third parties when referees, nominated by that person, are asked to supply information or opinions. Use of Personal Information Personal information is not traded, sold or passed on to any third parties. We require personal information to operate our business in the provision of suitable candidates to our clients and to identify appropriate positions for our job seekers. Therefore we must speak to clients about candidates and candidates about clients. MindBank does not pass on information concerning either without first attaining permission to do so from both parties and only then information that is relevent is disclosed. Security MindBank places significant importance on the protection and security of all information associated with our clients, candidates and job seekers. We have in place the most up to date secure measures to deter unauthorised access to computer based information and the misuse or alteration of such information. Any paper based information is also held securely and if disposed of is physically shredded and destroyed. Access to Personal Information Individuals have the right to access their personal information held by MindBank as stipulated under the Privacy Act 1988. Requests for such information can be made by contacting our offices either by telephone or in writing and if possible such requests will be responded to immediately or within 14 days.
